Where your money goes.
We have had some people say that our new bag price (effective from June 1st) is a little steep. I am going to split up the cost of the bag so that people can see where the money goes.
£9.50 of the £25.00 is expense cost. That leaves £15.50 profit. If we are lucky we can complete a bag in 10 hours, it usually takes longer, depending on design. Split the £15.50 profit by 10 hours and that is £1.50 an hour. Not many people would work for £1.50 an hour.
The bag is handmade, the felt design is cut out by hand and sewn on by hand. Each bag is bespoke and made to order. We think this is a reasonable price for all of this.
